Adam Buxton Reads Out Youtube Comments
The beauty, and, some might say, the curse of the internet, is that as soon as you put out a video, you’re guaranteed an instant audience response. From my experience, this can work both as a blessing and a curse at the same time. My latest video, Set Piece, has just hit 50,000 views. But from the comments, a lot of those views have been directed at the actress’s ‘rather ample bosom.’ Those aren’t my words, but the Youtube community. Actually, they’ve been a little more crude than that.
The mad, often misguided, sometimes sublime nature of Youtube comments has been seized upon by Adam Buxton in his series of BUG lectures. Here, he looks at the typings of humanity on popular internet videos, in turn creating a popular internet video.
